From this tab, users can configure the ethernet communication parameters for both ethernet ports on the device.

| **Item** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| Hostname | Server hostname for an HMI. |
| Primary DNS | The initial primary DNS used to take the queries. |
| Secondary DNS | The secondary DNS takes over the queries when primary DNS is busy or unreachable. |

| **Item** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| Static | An IP address is assigned manually by a user and stays the same over time or until a user manually assigns a new IP address. |
| DHCP | An IP address is assigned by a connected network and may change over time. |
| IP Address | Allows the user to assign an IP Address for the selected Xpanel port. |
| Subnet Mask | Allows the user to assign a Subnet Mask for the selected Xpanel port. |
| Default Gateway | Allows the user to assign a Default Gateway for the selected Xpanel port. |
| MAC Address | Displays the Xpanel device’s MAC Address. |
