# <span style="color: #0747a6">**Exercise: Monitoring the Change in Flow Using a Data Logging Object**</span>

In this example, the user will collect and monitor temperature data every second.

## Creating Tags

1. Click **View **>** Tag Editor **to bring up the Tag Editor window. Create two analog tags, “Celsius” and “Fahrenheit”.

## Data Logging Model/Property Editor

1. Click **Tools **> **Data Log Editor…** to open the Data Logger window. Type “TempTracker” for the Logging Model Name and configure it as shown below:
  
2. In the Tag List tab of the Data Log Editor… window, assign the previously created “Celsius” and “Fahrenheit” tags to the Data Logging Model.
  
3. Click **Insert** > **Data Log Table **and drag on the page to add the object. In the Property Editor window, configure the object as shown below:

## Checking the Operation

1. Download the project to an Xpanel or run a simulator to test the functionality. If the Data Log Model is functioning as intended, the table should resemble the following:
