### **Find and Replace**

Click **Edit** > **Find and Replace** or press the hotkey [Ctrl F] to open the Find and Replace window as displayed on the right:

Users can search for text or colors using the methods of Regular Expression, Case Sensitive, and Whole Word and replace them if desired. The location of the search can be filtered by the **Scope Type** of Global or Pages and the **Search Scope** of Object Properties, Page Properties, Project Properties, Scripts, Tag Database, I/O Devices, Data Server Devices, Alarms, Data Loggers, Security, Scheduler, and Translations.

The user enters text into the **Search For** field and presses [Enter] or the **Search** button to populate the table. Clicking **Previous** or **Next** opens the searched occurrence of the given text in the table's order.

The user enters text into the **Replace With** field and presses **Replace Selected** or **Replace All** to convert the selected or all occurrences of the given text to the new given text.
